Delete your account

To have your Flashfriend account and everything in it deleted, email us from the address you sign in with. That's how we know the request comes from you.

What to put in it
- Subject: Delete my Flashfriend account
- That you'd like your account and its data deleted
- Send it from the email address you sign in with
If you'd like to keep your cards, export your deck to Anki from the app first: once your account is deleted, we can't get it back.
What happens next
- We check the request came from your account's email address.
- We delete your account, your deck, your reviews, your pictures and your settings from our server.
- We email you when it's done, within 30 days.
What we keep
- Payment records, for as long as tax law asks (usually 6 years).
- Our daily backups, which roll over within 30 days.
- Usage records (which screens were opened and when), for up to 2 years, as the privacy policy says.
If you have a plan
Deleting your account doesn't cancel a subscription you bought through Google Play or the App Store: cancel it in your Google Play or Apple account first, so you're not charged again. If you paid on the website, say so in your email and we'll cancel it for you.
